£6m Sandro set to join

I'll be honest, when I first heard we were into Sandro my first reaction was one of surprise. OK, so arguably Wilson's had a small a dip in form and Huddlestone's started to look a bit shaky... but that's if your being picky.

So what does he offer? I heard he was more of a defensive midfielder, so offers much needed cover and the depth that we currently lack in the defensive areas of midfield. Although, somehow I can't see this boy sitting on the bench for a whole season.

Sky Sports reports that Levy's willing to spend a fairly modest £6m. No big pressure price tag, I like that. Although a few potential faults may scupper Sandro's move to London. The 20 year old Brazilian may struggle to aquire a work permit due to not completing a certain amount of games for Brazil and is also owned by a third-party which is apparently 'common' in Brazil. Inter are confident the deal will go ahead.

A good signing? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Regards.
