Ah the song we have wanted to sing for so long can finally now be sung- All be it if it is only for a matter of days. The demolishing of 5 goals to 1 against Hull have left us joint top with Chelsea sniffing down our necks.
Jermaine Defoe. What a game this boy had, achieving his second Premier League hat trick in only the second game of the season. Other positives include Robbie getting his first and Palacios with his first in English football. Congratulations to the lad, it was always a matter of time before his first goal came with Harry giving him the freedom to break forward a lot more.
Well done to the boys and let's hope we can give that lot from East London a similar result at their place on Sunday
People always say don't get carried away, but boy, are we going to enjoy this one!
Im going to enjoy being top of the league while I can! I wouldnt get too exited just yet...
ReplyDeleteGreat game, great Defoe, I'm so happy..... Come on you Spurs!!!!
ReplyDeleteNorwegian Spurs fan.
Congratulations to Defoe!! Also glad to see big Hudd is pairing well with Palacios, and Bentley getting some game time.
ReplyDeleteWell done Lads!
I'm masturbating!!!
ReplyDeleteCOYS
ReplyDeleteah to heck with it enjoy the moment. I have already had a laugh with my liverpool fan neighbour.
ReplyDeleteI wont get carried away with expectations, but i wont sacrifice the football we play for a guarantee of three points.
Can't wait to see more of Modric, The Hud and Wilson.
when was the last time we were top?
ReplyDeletei've actually taken a photo of the table as i know its only a matter of time, happy all the same and hopefully we can keep it going for longer! Can't believe man u lost as well. COYS
ReplyDeleteCracking start, but we've only played 2 games. However the squad is certainly looking strong, sharp and confident. COYS, lets keep the run going :)
ReplyDeletesay we are top of the league we are top of the league. Bring on the spammers COYS!!!
ReplyDeletebeen 4 years since we were top after winning our first two. That year we almost finished 4th if it wasn't for that French chef poisoning us at the Marriott
ReplyDeletethere seems to be a =lot more confidence this season. In past season conceding a goal at 2-1 i would allways be braced to lose the game as we nearly allways fell apart! Seems like a different team this season! COYS!!!
ReplyDeleteGood to see Bentley come on too, he chased every ball and played in a good pass to Defoe before the 1-2 with Lennon that lead to his hat trick. He got a few boos but hopefully this can be a turning point for him.
ReplyDeleteTonight was a great test for the lads, and they passed with flying colours!! I'm liking the look of that top four, but not going to get too excited. Would have loved to have seen bentley on the right and Lennon cutting in from the left but I can't complain too much. Look very nervous without king at the back but I'm filled with optimism just thinking about the potential off a full strength spurs! Great result tonight
ReplyDeleteCOYS!!!
Prediction for the weekend,West Ham 0 - 2 Spurs
ReplyDeleteAt the back? We're down to the bare bones if you remember with our defense. All the tabloid and radio hacks were banging on about all our first choice centre backs were injured, harking back to last years poor start. Blah blah. Trying to tap up huddlestone in the pre-season saying half our team was being sold to Villa, Everton. Harrys done a tremendous job and whats more he knows his English football and the media influence, so this time theres a better chance we can stay strong. Its only two games but the quality is there for all to see and the spirit fantastic! Wheres your politics now Benty boy!?
ReplyDeletewhoever the 2nd prick "commentating" throughout whatever sky feed i was watching, was a biased cucking funt
ReplyDeleteSTRATTY says:
ReplyDeleteHappy days. Six points in two games. LEAGUE TABLE WAS WORTH A PHOTO.
I'll take a point at WEST HAM happily. Then 3 from BIRMINGHAM.
Meantime, I vote we send the kids to DONCASTER.
