So, finally, we achieved what we have desired. We have achieved what we deserve and its a relief to see that no dodgy lasagna decided our fate. So, we have now earned the right to compete for a place in the group stages of next years Champions League, with this being the most probable and realistic outcome anyway.
So the key dates are as followed: The draw for the knockout round will occur on August 6th with the 1st Knockout round commencing on either the 17th or 18th of August and the return Leg a week later.
It's luck of the draw as we could easily find ourselves playing any one of Ajax, Sevilla, CSKA, Zenit or Porto.
No team will be considered as an easy opponent although on our day and with the Lane rocking, we can beat anyone.
