Our forgotten man stars

Like I'm sure many of you did, I watched the friendly at home to Mexico last night as a way of assessing how Spurs' English stars of this season forgone played against a strong Mexican side.

King illustrated his brilliance at the back alongside Rio and looked very comfortable, getting on the scoresheet in the process with Crouch providing King's goal and grabbing one himself twenty or so minute's later. Defoe and Lennon both made appearances but did not produce as big an impact as Ledley or Crouch.

Although one star of the show, for me anyway, was our forgotten man Giovani Dos Santos. Gio was in the heart of every attack the Mexicans posed, proving a real threat in the free role he was given in midfield creating promising goal scoring opportunities.

Gio spent last season out on loan at Galatasary but hit back with a performance last night that would've raised a head or two. Maybe we should give the boy a chance next season.

What do you think we should do with Gio?

Regards.
